IT Support Engineer

Salary: £25,000 - 30,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for a highly self-motivated, customer-focused IT engineer with excellent communication skills.
• You should have an understanding of Windows desktop troubleshooting.
• You should have experience with Microsoft 365 administration, primarily Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams.
• You should have experience resolving Microsoft Office application issues, such as Outlook profiles and OneDrive.
• You should have some networking knowledge, including firewalls and WiFi management.
• A full driving licence and your own car or van are essential, and you must be willing to travel, primarily in the North East.
• We are looking for someone with a well-rounded skillset and the desire to learn and improve daily.
• You should have a minimum of half a year of professional experience in a similar role, or other outstanding personal experience.
• IT support experience of 1 year is preferred.
• Previous MSP experience is desirable.
• Experience working with hybrid Microsoft 365 environments is desirable.

Responsibilities:

• We respond to support requests via telephone and email in a professional and timely manner.
• We troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues primarily remotely, but also onsite as required.
• We document common issues in technical knowledge bases.
• We carry out general user and account administration.
• We upgrade and repair hardware both onsite and in our fully equipped workshop.
• We assist other staff with project work.
• We undertake other duties as assigned by management.
