IT Operations Assistant

Salary: £26,000 - 26,000 per year

Requirements:

• We have previous experience in a 1st/2nd Line IT Support or Service Desk role.
• We have strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11.
• We have experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Office applications.
• We have experience supporting Dynamic 365 environments.
• We have a good understanding of Active Directory and user administration.
• We have knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and wireless networking.
• We have experience using IT service desk or ticket management systems.
• We have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• We have strong communication and customer service skills.
• We have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• We have a positive, proactive and collaborative approach to work.
• Desirable: We have experience with Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), SharePoint Online, Windows Server Administration, EPOS or retail technology support, or VoIP or telecoms systems.

Responsibilities:

• We install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and peripherals.
• We create, manage and maintain user accounts, permissions and access across business systems.
• We support Microsoft 365 applications and services, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• We diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system and networking issues.
• We support retail technology, including EPOS systems, payment terminals and store connectivity.
• We assist with the administration of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and endpoint management solutions.
• We help maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, DNS and DHCP.
• We work with third-party suppliers and service providers to resolve technical issues.
• We assist with IT projects, system upgrades, new store openings, hardware deployments and business improvement initiatives.
• We maintain accurate documentation, asset registers and support tickets while ensuring IT security best practices are followed.
