IT Helpdesk Manager

Salary: £28,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements:

• Positive attitude with a can-do approach to everything!
• Strong leadership skills and a team player
• ICT background within an MSP with team leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows client operating systems and M365 cloud products
• Solid experience in customer service with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Technical expertise in IT infrastructure and systems administration (networking, security, and cloud technologies)
• Advanced experience with Microsoft 365, premise-based servers, virtualization technologies, SharePoint, Azure, backup solutions, and security firewalls
• Commercial awareness, including cost analysis and budget preparation
• Comfortable using CRMs and documentation solutions
• Naturally supportive leader
• Ability to prioritize personal and team workload
• Full UK valid driving license

Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment
• Develop and implement training programs for ongoing professional development of team members
• Champion a partner-centric approach to service delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction is prioritized
• Collaborate closely with partners to understand their business needs and provide strategic guidance
• Stay abreast of industry trends, making recommendations for service enhancements
• Provide excellent customer service with effective and professional communication
• Lead the team technically, ensuring correct resources are available
• Mentor Team Leaders to manage daily operations and deliver feedback and coaching
• Coach Team Leaders to take ownership of partner queries
• Set KPIs and metrics to monitor team performance and present to the management team
