IT Engineer, East Sheffield

Salary: £28,000 - 30,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience supporting infrastructure and security projects
• Experience working with Development teams and getting involved in projects rather than only closing tickets
• Experience in an IT support environment, such as an internal IT team, an MSP, education, or another hands-on technical role
• Curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, and a habit of developing technical skills outside of work
• Interest in technologies such as Microsoft 365, Azure / Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft Defender, SharePoint Online, PowerShell, SQL, Jira, Confluence, Cisco Meraki, and cloud infrastructure

Responsibilities:

• Join our close-knit technology team supporting around 150 users across the business
• Take ownership of technical issues and support a wide variety of technologies
• Work on infrastructure, security, automation, and cloud-related projects
• Collaborate with experienced infrastructure professionals and Development teams
• Gain exposure to modern Microsoft cloud technologies and broader technical environments
• Contribute to ongoing technical improvement while developing into more specialist roles
