Information Security Engineer - Holborn

Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Information Security, Security Assurance, IT Audit or Cyber Risk within a regulated Investment Management environment
• Deep understanding of security control frameworks, risk management and governance
• Experience managing internal and external security audits, client due diligence and regulatory assessments
• Good knowledge of cloud security, IAM identity and access management, vulnerability management, incident response and security monitoring
• Ability to assess technical controls, challenge evidence and drive remediation activities to completion
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, auditors and senior business leaders

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership for the London office, collaborating with colleagues in New York
• Lead technical security assurance activities across the business
• Manage internal and external audits, client due diligence, penetration test remediation and regulatory assessments
• Partner closely with Engineering, Infrastructure and Risk teams to evaluate security controls, identify opportunities for improvement and drive remediation through to completion
• Act as the technical authority for security assurance
• Provide oversight across identity and access management, vulnerability management, cloud security, endpoint protection, incident management, logging and monitoring
• Ensure security controls are effective, measurable and continuously improving
• Influence the firms security strategy
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical technical controls
• Provide meaningful reporting on security posture, risk and compliance to senior stakeholders
