Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Service.
• Strong Power Platform development experience, particularly Power Automate and Power Pages.
• Strong knowledge of Dataverse and model-driven applications.
• C# and .NET development experience, including Dynamics 365 Plug-ins and Custom APIs.
• Practical experience developing and deploying Azure Functions.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 / Dataverse integrations and APIs.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps and source control.
• Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum delivery environment.
• Ability to successfully complete BPSS checks prior to commencing the assignment.
• For lead-level positions, previous experience leading or mentoring Dynamics 365 development teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and extend Dynamics 365 Customer Service, including model-driven apps, forms, Business Rules, Business Process Flows, security roles and Dataverse.
• Develop and maintain Power Pages sites, including Liquid templates, web templates, Table Permissions and authentication.
• Build Power Automate flows for business process automation and integration, including appropriate error handling and retry behaviour.
• Develop Azure Functions to extend Dynamics 365 and integrate with external systems.
• Develop Dynamics 365 Plug-ins, Custom APIs and PCF controls where configuration alone cannot meet requirements.
• Work with APIs and integration patterns between Dynamics 365, Dataverse and external systems.
• Take ownership of features from refinement through development, release and defect resolution.
• Work with Azure DevOps, source control and deployment pipelines.
• Apply an out-of-the-box first approach and challenge unnecessary customisation.
• Identify technical risks and debt and contribute to technical solutions and improvements.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Solution Architects and wider technical teams.
• Communicate technical concepts and decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• For lead-level candidates, lead the development workstream and act as a senior technical point of contact.

We are recruiting experienced Senior and Lead Dynamics 365 and Power Platform Developers for a high-profile public-sector transformation programme. This is a 12-month contract with an initial 3-month term, based in the UK with predominantly remote working and occasional client-site travel. The day rate is inside IR35 and dependent on experience. Candidates will need to complete BPSS security checks as part of onboarding. We offer the chance to work across Dynamics 365, Power Platform and Azure in a technically challenging environment, with opportunities for both senior and lead-level impact on delivery.
