Desktop Support Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements:- Previous experience in a Desktop Support, IT Support or Service Desk role
- Strong knowledge of Windows desktop and laptop support
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software and peripheral issues
- Experience building, deploying and imaging Windows devices
- Knowledge of Microsoft desktop applications and enterprise software
- Experience supporting printers, email, networking and remote access
- Ability to prioritise and manage incidents through a ticketing system
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Technical qualification or equivalent commercial experience
- Experience with asset management and hardware lifecycle processes
- Knowledge of Active Directory and endpoint management tools
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments
- Exposure to desktop security, patching and malware protection
- Support end users across our corporate office in London
- Install, configure and support desktop hardware and software
- Resolve technical issues and provide high-quality IT support
- Build new devices
- Work across a broad range of technologies
- Support both BAU activities and IT projects
- Maintain excellent customer service throughout

We are recruiting for a Desktop Support Technician to join our busy IT team supporting end users across a corporate office in central London.
