Data Lead

Salary: £90,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong technical foundation across data, cloud and modern application development
• Leadership and consultancy skills to operate confidently with clients and senior stakeholders
• Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure and/or AWS
• Experience with data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake and/or Microsoft Fabric
• Deep expertise in at least one BI and visualisation tool such as Power BI and/or Tableau
• Experience with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot and/or Gemini
• Experience with apps and automation using Microsoft Power Platform
• Experience with source control and CI/CD tools such as GitHub and/or Azure DevOps
• Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Strong coding skills in SQL and Python

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the technical quality and delivery of client work
• Provide technical oversight across discovery and design phases to keep projects on track
• Help shape architecture and technical approach before projects convert
• Stay close to build and delivery to ensure promises are delivered to a high standard
• Support presales activity

• Oversee quality and governance
• Act as a trusted sounding board for the Managing Director

We are a growing data and technology consultancy helping organisations turn data into better decisions, smarter processes and new opportunities. This is a newly created Data Delivery Lead role based in Bristol with 1/2 days a week onsite, reporting directly to the Managing Director. We offer a salary of up to £90,000 plus benefits, and a genuine place on the leadership team. You will help shape the technology function and how we deliver client work as the business scales, working across technology, delivery, clients, people and business development, with the chance to influence the direction of the company.
