Data Analyst

Salary: £46,000 - 86,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role within consumer-facing product teams
• Experience applying methods for statistical inference, such as Bayesian or Frequentist approaches, and analysing A/B tests
• Experience planning and completing analytical tasks on time, gathering and defining analysis requirements, and challenging misconceptions
• Ability to simplify and articulate complex analysis into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences
• Experience with common analytics tools for tracking and analysing user behaviour, such as Google Analytics or similar platforms
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or R, with knowledge of ETL processes and foundational data engineering principles

Responsibilities:

• Support establishing metrics in our product area, ensure appropriate monitoring, and maintain accuracy
• Collaborate with engineers to implement and maintain data products; most of our data modelling is done using dbt
• Ensure robust and accurate tracking of user journeys through our product, aligned with our business-wide approach to user tracking
• Plan, execute, and analyse A/B tests in our product area
• Analyse product performance, drive improvement through recommendations, and ensure reliable evaluation of product changes and evolution
• Align Growth and Product Analytics principles, support evidence-led thinking, and contribute to knowledge sharing across the discipline
