Data Analyst

Salary: £28,000 - 35,000 per year

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, MI Analyst or similar analytical role.
• Strong Power BI experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to interpret complex data and turn it into clear, actionable insight.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience producing management information and performance reporting.
• An understanding of process mapping and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• The ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A collaborative approach and the confidence to challenge existing processes where appropriate.
• Experience within a professional services, regulated or operational environment would be advantageous, although candidates with strong transferable analytical experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate and timely management information and reporting.
• Analyse data and provide meaningful insight and commentary on business performance.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and management teams.
• Support forecasting, resource planning and operational performance analysis.
• Assist with financial forecasting, budget tracking and associated reporting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Analyse existing processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.
• Support business change initiatives from analysis through to implementation.
• Monitor the effectiveness of existing strategies and assess the impact of implemented changes.
• Work collaboratively with teams across the organisation to deliver key strategic priorities.
• Prepare information and reports for senior stakeholders and governance meetings.

We are a growing professional services organisation in Bristol offering a Data Analyst opportunity on a hybrid basis, with 2–3 days per week in our Bristol office and flexibility. This is a permanent role for 35 hours per week, with a salary of £28,000–£35,000 depending on experience, annual bonus, annual salary review, generous annual leave and additional employee benefits.
