D365 Solution Architect

Salary: £52,000 - 92,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are confident using architecture skills and experience across the full range of architectural domains, with a specialism in at least one of Business, Data, Application, Technology, or Security.
• We have a clear understanding and practical application of architecture and delivery methodologies such as TOGAF and SAFe.
• We can use architecture modelling tools and frameworks to communicate ideas, including UML, ArchiMate, Ardoq, and others.
• We can design and deliver architecture solutions within governance and target operating models using methodologies such as Waterfall, SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.
• For some UK roles, we may need to meet security clearance and residency requirements, including at least 5 years of continuous UK residency or British citizenship.

Responsibilities:

• We design and deliver architecture solutions within governance and target operating models.
• We work across a range of delivery methodologies, including Waterfall, SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.
• We work closely with engineering teams and often take a lead SME role.
• We help define the vision, establish architectural guardrails, architecture runways, and detailed designs.
• We unblock the team as issues arise.
• We lead the solution design and architecture for low-code based projects and business opportunities.
• We ensure solutions meet business objectives, functional requirements, and technical specifications.
• We own, create, and assure key architecture artefacts, including key design decisions, technical options papers, high-level designs, low-level designs, reference architectures, and roadmaps.
• We use consulting and stakeholder management skills to inform, engage, and influence colleagues and decision makers across the client business.
• We support senior leaders in shaping the case for change.
• We typically lead on cost estimation and support detailed planning and benefits realisation for the technology solutions we design.
• We work alongside product, design, and cross-disciplinary teams to bring ideas to life through innovative software solutions.
• We work on internal projects as well as client work, using agile best practices and cross-functional collaboration.
