C# Developer - Front Office / Investment Bank

Salary: £65,000 - 105,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience with C# .NET and object-oriented programming principles.
• Excellent understanding of software design patterns and best practices.
• Strong experience building service-oriented or distributed systems.
• Advanced MS SQL development skills.
• Experience using DevOps and CI/CD tooling.
• Practical knowledge of AI-assisted software development, including enterprise use of Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic AI engineering.
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within Agile teams.
• A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience in at least two of the following areas: financial products (Listed and OTC), P&L Explain and market risk (Delta, Gamma, Theta, Vega), XVA (CVA, FVA, ColVA), liquidity risk (RNFB, NSFR), cash forecasting, balance sheet metrics (including leverage exposure), pre-trade calculations and trade booking workflows.
• Experience with modern front-end technologies such as HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Redux would be advantageous.

• Build scalable services within a modern event-driven architecture.
• Work closely with Front Office users to understand business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and software best practices.
• Support continuous improvement across development, testing and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with international development teams in an Agile environment.
• Champion clean code, software craftsmanship and engineering excellence.
