Boundary Service Lead

Salary: £48,000 - 88,000 per year

Requirements:

• Current DV Clearance (Developed Vetting) is essential.
• Ability to work onsite near Farnborough five days per week.
• Significant experience in network security, cyber security operations, or boundary security environments.
• Proven leadership experience managing security operations or managed service teams.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and threat monitoring technologies.
• Experience leading incident response and service delivery within secure environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Desirable: experience within Defence, Government, or National Security environments.
• Desirable: certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security, or equivalent.
• Desirable: experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, or similar security platforms.
• Desirable: knowledge of secure network architecture and cyber security best practice.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of secure network boundary services and operations.
• Manage security monitoring, incident response, and service performance.
• Oversee boundary security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and related security controls.
• Drive continuous service improvement and operational excellence.
• Lead, mentor, and develop technical teams.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and audit requirements.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and provide regular service reporting.
