Requirements:

• Deep expertise in AWS networking, CloudFront, WAF, security automation, observability, large-scale log analytics, and cloud-native delivery practices.
• AWS WAF, Amazon CloudFront, AWS Shield Advanced, Amazon Athena, Amazon S3, Amazon CloudWatch, Amazon Kinesis Firehose, AWS Lambda, API security, and cost optimisation experience.
• Strong cloud engineering experience with AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid background in web application security, bot management, API security, and DDoS protection.
• Experience with SQL and Athena query development, log analytics, threat detection, data visualisation, and KPI/operational reporting.
• Preferred: AWS Certified Security Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, or AWS Advanced Networking certification.
• Preferred: Experience delivering security transformation initiatives on AWS.
• Preferred: Experience working in regulated, enterprise-scale environments.
• Preferred: Familiarity with AI-driven operations (AIOps), security analytics, and autonomous remediation frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical execution of a large-scale Defensive AI and Bot Mitigation Proof of Value for a high-volume enterprise digital platform.
• Design, build, and deploy cloud-native security controls, observability solutions, traffic analytics, automation frameworks, and AI-assisted operational capabilities using AWS services and Infrastructure as Code.
• Deliver security and cloud platform consulting across AWS networking, CloudFront, WAF, observability, and security automation.
• Develop and implement log analytics, threat detection, KPI reporting, and operational reporting capabilities.
• Support the creation of AI-assisted and autonomous remediation capabilities for security operations.

We are seeking an experienced AWS Security & Cloud Platform Consultant for a 6 month contract in London. This is an outside IR35 opportunity paying up to £450 per day. You will join us to support a high-volume enterprise digital platform and help deliver a large-scale Defensive AI and Bot Mitigation Proof of Value using AWS services, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-native security practices.
