Job Description

Salary: £60,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Recent experience (within 3 years) of business transformation through the adoption and implementation of robotics and automation technologies.
  • In touch with the latest technological advancements that can be realistically implemented across a wide range of business sizes and types.
  • Demonstrable experience of project managing or leading a robotics or automation project from inception to implementation.
  • Ability to confidently engage, influence, and advise business owners, senior leaders, and technical teams at all levels.
  • Proven ability to translate technical solutions into clear business benefits and recommendations.
  • Experience of facilitating and presenting effectively to small groups as well as giving confidential advice in a 1:1 setting.
  • An eye for detail.
  • A sound understanding of Lean or Continuous Improvement.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a geographically dispersed caseload.
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft 365 and CRM systems, ideally HubSpot.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly to customer sites across the South West.
  • Experience within a manufacturing or automation environment, with operational leadership, continuous improvement, or cross-functional collaboration experience.
  • A degree or equivalent professional experience in robotics, automation, business transformation, or a related discipline would be beneficial.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with businesses across the region.
  • Spend time on-site with clients to understand their operations, culture, challenges, and growth ambitions.
  • Deliver structured business diagnostics and robotic capability reviews.
  • Produce clear, commercially focused recommendations.
  • Advise on robotic solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, and operational resilience.
  • Support leadership teams to improve robotic awareness and capability across their organisations.
  • Guide businesses in making informed decisions about the adoption of new robotic technologies and innovation.
  • Offer balanced advice on systems, data-led decision-making, and practical implementation.
  • Support organisations through change and help leaders engage their teams and embed new ways of working effectively.
  • Harness opportunities and support from our wider network of robotics partners to add lasting value to clients.
  • Connect businesses to specialist expertise and funding support where appropriate.
  • Contribute to wider regional engagement activities that strengthen collaboration across the business community.
