Audio Visual Support Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - 42,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven track record in an audio-visual service engineer role
• Experience with commercial audio visual and videoconferencing systems
• Experience with fault-finding audio-visual systems
• UK driving licence
• Be no more than an hours commute to the Woodley/Twyford area
• Have SC Clearance or be prepared to be subjected to SC Clearance vetting
• Knowledge of Crestron, Extron, and QSC switching and control systems
• Knowledge of videoconferencing systems such as Microsoft Teams Room, Google Meet, and Cisco
• Knowledge and experience of Barco ClickShare
• Excellent PC skills with experience of Crestron Toolbox, Extron Global Configurator, and various audio DSP software programs including Biamp and QSC
• Ability to read and comprehend technical documents including system schematics
• Ability to interact with customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner
• Effective time management and attention to detail with a good memory

Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventative and remedial maintenance on a wide range of audio visual and videoconferencing installations in commercial and Government buildings
• Travel to client sites within London and the Southern Counties, with occasional national coverage
• Plan, arrange, and attend service visits
• Provide remote technical support
• Update equipment and produce service reports
• Keep service records updated
• Respond to service call outs

We are hiring an Audio Visual Support Engineer based from our main office in Woodley, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. This is a field service role supporting audio visual and videoconferencing installations across client sites in London and the Southern Counties, with occasional national travel. We offer a salary of £40,000 to £42,000 per annum plus a vehicle, onsite parking at the office, a fully expensed company vehicle including fuel for private mileage, life assurance at 4 x salary, long term sickness cover, and a pension scheme.
