IT Business Analyst
Job Description
Salary: £71,000 - 77,000 per year

- Strong analytical and data analysis experience.
- Experience as a Business Analyst in a business change and/or project-based environment.
- Engagement in IT projects.
- Precise and timely delivery of work, whether small or large scale.
- Generation and collation of analysis documentation, including detailed data analysis and reports.
- Working face-to-face with clients, including senior stakeholders across the firm, on solutions that meet their needs.
- Relevant Business Analysis training and/or qualification.
- Experience working in a law firm environment, or a similar professional services culture.
- Co-ordination of user testing.
- Awareness of the development process.
- Working effectively within budgets.
- Microsoft Project skills.
- Experience with process documentation tools such as Microsoft Visio.
- Understanding of the use and configuration of SharePoint.
- Understanding of the use of Azure Dev Ops to manage a requirements backlog.
- Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently to colleagues and clients, verbally and in writing.
- Ability to present ideas in a variety of ways depending upon audience and context.
- Presentable and comfortable in front of business stakeholders and clients.
- Understanding of the role IT plays in relation to a clients business.
- Ability to generate fresh ideas regarding use of IT in business areas where it is not being used.

- Assisting the QA function in test planning and execution, and guiding clients in best practices for user acceptance testing.
- Using process improvement methodologies and tools to help business users analyse, design and implement more effective processes.
- Liaising with work package leaders and project sponsors, and contributing to the effective planning and use of resources.
- Assisting with delivery and transfer to business-as-usual for all project deliverables.

We are a global, collaborative team of professionals based in London within our IT Business Solutions function. Our IT Business Analysis team provides the full range of business analysis disciplines for clients and projects, helping improve business processes through a strong understanding of goals, requirements and IT architecture. This role works in partnership with Business Relationship Managers as a gateway into IT services, supporting information applications, data management and storage solutions, as well as third-party, cloud and commercial software deliveries. The position is full time at 35 hours per week, typically 9:30am to 5:30pm, with additional hours as required. We support agile and flexible working patterns, and our hybrid model allows up to 40% of time working from home and 60% in the office. We operate as a global team across multiple business sites and encourage an inclusive, flexible approach to work.
