Network Support Analyst

Salary: £58,000 - 98,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require at least 4 to 7 years of proven experience in network support.
• We require Cisco CCNA certification.
• We require in-depth knowledge of Cisco technologies, including firewalls, switches, and routing protocols.
• We require experience supporting a datacentre with branch interconnectivity.
• We require knowledge of VPN technologies, including IPSEC.
• We value security certification as an advantage.
• We need someone who can support 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line network support activities.

Responsibilities:

• We support Business As Usual (BAU) operations with involvement in the design of scalable solutions delivered through projects.
• We support numerous technologies that contribute to high-availability solutions.
• We diagnose issues quickly, assist others, and remediate BAU support problems.
• We maintain documentation and networking diagrams for support and internal audits.
• We support root cause analysis.
• We work within the infrastructure team to support and deliver all aspects of services.
• We handle BAU across networks, telephony, PABX, voice recording, desk moves, and changes.
• We support annual disaster recovery invoking and testing.
• We contribute to the design, build, and implementation of firewall solutions from perimeter to DMZ roles.
• We develop, maintain, and deliver global standards across networking devices.
• We interpret network security reports.
• We assist with the migration of the network estate to a newly adopted security framework.
• We facilitate internal and external audits and penetration testing remediation.

We are recruiting a Network Support Analyst for our City of London location, close to Liverpool Street. This is a permanent, full-time role in the I.T. & Communications sector with a salary range of 45,000 to 60,000 plus banking benefits. The position is part of a European bank environment and focuses on supporting applications and services to ensure they remain operational, with exposure to both support and project-based work.
