Sr Presales System Engineer Public UK

Salary: £62,000 - 102,000 per year

Requirements:

• UK Security Clearance
• Experience in a similar role within the technology industry, such as business partner relationship, sales, or technical roles
• Broad technical knowledge, including understanding of enterprise architecture and architecture standards
• Passion for AI and its application, ideally with experience in data management, AI, analytics, fraud detection, and intelligence
• Good knowledge of cloud technologies
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required
• Hands-on customer-facing skills, including facilitating workshops, gathering requirements, and delivering software demonstrations
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to tell a compelling story and influence stakeholders
• Ideally, previous experience of MOD or UK Policing

Responsibilities:

• Act as the customer advisory lead across our defence, intelligence, and policing territory
• Advise clients on how public sector organisations can create business value and support their goals through data, AI, and analytical solutions
• Serve as the primary technical contact between the client and us, translating business needs into value-generating solutions based on our products and services
• Define and execute the technical strategy in alignment with the account executive and wider engagement team
• Provide technical and pre-sales leadership for new business opportunities across technical and business audiences
• Define and own the technical engagement plan and build and lead multi-discipline pursuit teams
• Handle complex customer situations using knowledge of industry standards, our solutions, and the customers technology landscape
• Deliver a high-quality customer experience and demonstrate our value through presentations, discussions, demonstrations, and POCs
• Use technical and industry knowledge to create a compelling vision and influence stakeholders in formal and informal meetings
• Adapt materials to suit different audiences and use influencing and negotiation skills to overcome objections
