Job Description

Salary: £80,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Masters or PhD degree
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or equivalent experience with research experience
  • Proven experience applying machine learning techniques to solve business problems
  • Proven experience translating technical methods to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong programming experience in Python and relevant analytics libraries such as pandas, numpy, matplotlib, scikit-learn, statsmodels, pymc, pytorch/tf/keras, and langchain
  • Experience with version control using GitHub
  • Experience with machine learning methods including causality, Bayesian statistics and optimization, survival analysis, design of experiments, longitudinal analysis, surrogate models, transformers, Knowledge Graphs, Agents, Graph NNs, Deep Learning, or computer vision
  • Ability to write production code and work with object-oriented programming
  • R and C++ experience is optional
Responsibilities:
  • We will develop new internal knowledge and build AI and machine learning models and pipelines
  • We will support client discussions, prototype development, and deployment with client delivery teams
  • We will contribute to research and development topics across our life sciences, global energy and materials, and advanced industries practices
  • We will help answer industry questions about how AI can be used for therapeutics, chemicals, and materials including small molecules, proteins, mRNA, and polymers
  • We will work in a multi-disciplinary team and help build our reputation in scientific AI
  • We will use advanced mathematics, statistics, and machine learning to help shape our scientific AI offering in our London office
  • We will support the development of the data science and analytics roadmap across cell-level initiatives
  • We will deliver capabilities, models, and insights with client teams and clients
  • We will ensure statistical validity and output quality of analytics and AI/ML models
  • We will translate results for senior stakeholders
  • We will write optimized code to advance our Data Science Toolbox and codify analytical methodologies for future deployment
