Job Description

Salary: £95,000 - 130,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We require applicants to be willing and eligible to apply for and obtain UK security clearance to Developed Vetting (DV) level, if not already holding existing clearance.
  • We are looking for hands-on experience with technologies relevant to Palantir Foundry and Gotham.
  • We need experience ingesting, transforming, enriching, and integrating data from diverse sources into structured information assets within Palantir Foundry.
  • We need experience designing, building, and optimising ETL processes, data pipelines, and automated workflows using Palantir Foundry tools.
  • We value experience optimising data systems for performance, scalability, reliability, and monitoring within Palantir Foundry.
  • We look for experience in data governance, including metadata management, data quality, and lineage tracking within Palantir Foundry.
  • We need experience building and maintaining military workflows in Palantir Gotham.
  • We are specifically looking for candidates with both technical and business-focused skills who can articulate the outcomes and value of their work.
  • We value end-to-end development experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, and workflow orchestration, with demonstrable experience in Palantir Foundry and Gotham.
  • We look for experience working with diverse data sources and types, including batch, streaming, real-time, and unstructured data.
  • We value systems thinking and architectural design skills for building scalable, high-performance data solutions within Palantir Foundry.
  • We need data modelling, Ontology design, and database optimisation knowledge, with evidence of logical and physical models in a Foundry context.
  • We look for the ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and tune Palantir Foundry pipelines for reliability and performance.
  • We value coding experience that demonstrates modularity, reusability, and efficiency across languages such as Python and TypeScript.
  • We expect understanding of the full development lifecycle, SDLC concepts, version control, and CI/CD pipelines for data solutions.
  • We value knowledge of data security, governance, metadata management, and master data principles applied across the Palantir stack.
  • We need strong communication skills and the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical data solutions and Foundry implementations.
Responsibilities:
  • We leverage our expertise in Palantir Foundry to bridge customer needs and technical solutions.
  • We make data valuable for our Defence & Security clients by designing, developing, and deploying robust solutions across the Palantir stack.
  • We turn data into accessible, trusted information assets and enable actionable insights through the Ontology.
  • We take responsibility for deliverables and client stakeholder relationships.
  • We deliver solutions using agile methodologies.
  • We work in multi-disciplinary teams across a range of industries, subject matters, and locations.
  • We apply Palantir Foundrys data engineering tools to create high-quality, standardised data assets for downstream use cases such as AI, operational applications, and reporting.
  • We design and implement robust, scalable data pipelines and data models within Palantir Foundry.
  • We coordinate with other developers and engineers to support data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
  • We bring innovation and novel approaches to solve challenging data engineering problems within the Palantir ecosystem.
  • We optimise data flows and leverage advanced Foundry features such as artifacts and compute modules.
  • We architect and implement Palantir Foundry solutions for scale and complexity, ensuring maximum value across diverse teams and consumers.
  • We develop logical and physical data modelling and governance strategy within Palantir Foundry.
  • We establish standards across teams and ensure data quality and lineage.
  • We develop user-facing applications within the Palantir stack using low-code or pro-code methods.
