Job Description

Salary: £66,500 - 91,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in software development.
  • Experience with C# preferred.
  • Experience with SQL databases, such as SQL Server.
  • Experience with front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks, with Angular preferred.
  • Experience with cloud services, with Azure preferred.
  • Experience with GenAI development tools such as Co-Pilot.
  • Experience developing multi-layered products as a full stack developer.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, or similar development repositories.
  • Experience with the software development life cycle, test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop software solutions as part of a development team working on a product build using an Agile methodology.
  • Manage your own workload and deliverables as part of a product team using DevOps tools.
  • Work hands-on with platforms such as Kubernetes and AI-driven development tools across our product suite.
  • Deliver a high standard of quality through automation testing and code review, and liaise with our Quality Assurance teams during testing.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing, peer review, and group meetings across our Engineering team and the wider group.
  • Act as a mentor for junior team members.
  • Work with Product Managers and Business Analysts to understand business requirements, dependencies, and timelines.
  • Work with stakeholders and customers where necessary to understand the business context and complex requirements.
  • Collaborate with developers in our offshore centres as part of product delivery.
