Job Description

Salary: £50,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:
  • 5+ years experience in cyber security, with a focus on threat intelligence, threat analysis, or a related discipline.
  • 4+ years experience within the Public Sector, including Government, Defence, Aerospace, Public Safety, or Education.
  • Proven experience tracking and analysing cyber threat actors, APT groups, and cybercrime campaigns.
  • Experience producing threat intelligence reports, assessments, and executive briefings relevant to Public Sector targets.
  • Strong understanding of intelligence tradecraft, including source evaluation and analytical methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Public Sector cybersecurity frameworks and regulations, such as NIST CSF, CMMC, FedRAMP, EO 14028, and CISA directives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Previous experience within a Government agency, Defence organisation, or Intelligence environment.
  • Experience using threat intelligence platforms such as Recorded Future, Mandiant Advantage, MISP, or OpenCTI.
  • Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
  • Experience conducting OSINT collection and analysis.
  • Team leadership or mentoring experience.
  • Client-facing consulting or advisory experience within a Public Sector environment.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CEH, GCTI, or GREM.
Responsibilities:
  • Research and analyse cyber threats impacting Government, Defence, Education, and Public Safety organisations.
  • Monitor threat actors, APT groups, and emerging cyber campaigns targeting the Public Sector.
  • Produce intelligence reports, threat assessments, and executive briefings.
  • Track adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and emerging geopolitical risks.
  • Deliver actionable intelligence and strategic insights to clients and stakeholders.
  • Present findings to technical and executive audiences.
  • Support client engagements and business development activities as a Public Sector cyber intelligence specialist.
  • Collaborate with intelligence analysts and industry experts across the Cyber Intelligence team.

We are Accenture Securitys Cyber Intelligence (CI) team, part of the Industry Intelligence & Analysis (IIA) function, delivering intelligence-driven insights to clients and internal stakeholders. We are looking for a cyber threat intelligence professional with strong Public Sector expertise to help analyse emerging threats, track sophisticated threat actors, and provide strategic intelligence across government, defence, education, and public safety sectors. This is a fully remote role within the UK, with travel may be required from 0% to 25% depending on business need and client requirements.
