Lead Technical Application Specialist

Salary: £44,000 - 76,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience leading and developing engineering teams, supporting both delivery and professional growth
• Experience in Identity & Access Management, Cyber Security or Enterprise Technology
• Strong technical background with a track record of delivering complex enterprise-scale technology solutions
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working with Product Owners, Architects and cross-functional delivery teams
• Ability to translate business requirements into engineering outcomes and technical solutions
• Commitment to delivering secure, resilient and well-governed services
• Knowledge of platforms such as SailPoint, Microsoft Entra ID or CyberArk
• Experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native technologies
• Experience adopting automation, API-driven integration and Infrastructure as Code practices
• Understanding of regulatory, risk and security requirements within large organisations
• Interest in emerging identity technologies, machine identities and automated services
• Experience supporting modern identity and access management solutions

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team responsible for building and operating engineering services that govern AI agents, machine identities and automated services throughout their lifecycle
• Work across security, engineering and architecture teams to ensure access is managed securely, consistently and at scale
• Support the adoption of emerging technologies across the Group
• Lead engineers responsible for developing and operating services that support non-human identities, automated access processes and modern identity controls
• Work closely with Product Owners, Architects and Security teams to translate business requirements into engineering outcomes
• Develop technical approaches and ensure services remain secure, resilient and well governed
• Coach and support engineers, helping create an environment where people can learn, contribute and develop their careers
