Tech Lead (Python, JavaScript)

Salary: £65,000 - 105,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, Python and AWS experience
• Good understanding of system design and architecting, including data engineering and data management
• Experience promoting engineering standards, best practices and testing
• Experience building APIs, cloud-based ETL pipelines, customer UIs and end-to-end data processing solutions
• Stakeholder management skills
• Strong engineering background
• Experience in a fast-paced environment
• Great people skills and the gravitas to take lead on strategy

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of data-orientated technical consultants to develop complex technical solutions
• Work hands-on on technical delivery, initially around 80% of the role
• Take on more leadership responsibilities as we grow into the role
• Build complex, data-driven technical solutions
• Contribute to projects with positive real-world impact
• Support and guide more junior members of the team
