Testing Group Leader

Salary: £44,000 - 84,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require a third level qualification in Computer Science or a related field, or extensive relevant experience.
• We require extensive experience with change management tools such as Azure DevOps (ADOS) or TFS.
• We require a solid background working on web-based, interactive voice response, and client-server projects.
• We require the ability to evaluate and implement new tools and technologies.
• We require experience in testing randomisation schemas.
• We require knowledge of drug management.
• We require familiarity with industry regulatory requirements (GxP).
• We require a strong technical background in software and object-oriented systems development and testing.
• We require the ability to design test strategies and support the adoption of new test tools and technology.
• We require knowledge of supply chain management.
• We require eligibility to work in the UK with no restrictions, or a valid work permit that allows full-time employment in the UK.

Responsibilities:

• We provide functional supervisory responsibility for Software Testing Analysts and Senior Software Testing Analysts.
• We assist in identifying training and development needs.
• We oversee resource scheduling.
• We maintain and report project status.
• We ensure project test deliverables are completed to agreed timelines and quality standards.
• We manage issues escalated by team members.
• We implement and ensure compliance with formal software testing methodologies and best practices.
• We identify, recommend, and implement Testing Department tool and process improvements.
• We support team members in defining testing strategies and quality risk assessments.
• We ensure corporate compliance with the testing phase of the Almac Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and testing team compliance with the SDLC as a whole.
• We undertake the same project-specific roles and responsibilities as a Senior Software Testing Analyst, as required.
