Salary: £95,000 - 130,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We are seeking experienced data security professionals with a strong background in architecture and engineering.
  • We want experience supporting the design, implementation, and testing of data security solutions.

  • We are looking for candidates who can define data security use cases, functional and non-functional requirements, and technical specifications.
  • We expect familiarity with data discovery, data access governance, data classification, data loss prevention, encryption, data masking, monitoring, and compliance requirements.
  • We want experience defining next-generation use cases covering data security posture management and AI use cases.
  • We are looking for experience creating high-level and low-level designs aligned to business objectives and cybersecurity standards such as NIST and ISO 27001.
  • We value experience producing architecture diagrams, defining dependencies, and specifying system requirements for performance.
  • We want experience integrating workflows with third-party systems and security tools, including SIEM solutions, data discovery and classification tools, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
  • We expect experience defining RACI matrices for operating and maintaining solution infrastructure.
  • We want experience supporting technical documentation and process documentation for data security implementations.
  • We are looking for hands-on implementation experience, including installing components in on-premises and cloud environments.
  • We value experience configuring cloud-based elements, scripting or coding plug-ins and extensions, and deploying agents for DLP scanning.
  • We want experience integrating data security solutions with enterprise applications, directories, cloud applications, and third-party data repositories.
  • We expect experience implementing API integrations and reverse proxy architectures with cloud services.
  • We want experience implementing, fine-tuning, and managing DLP policies.
  • We value collaboration with IT infrastructure teams to address prerequisites and dependencies before deployment.
  • We want experience executing unit, integration, functional, and non-functional testing and troubleshooting data security issues.

  • A bachelors degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science or Engineering is desirable.
  • We prefer candidates with strong client relationship and engagement delivery experience.
  • We want strong interpersonal and relationship skills.
  • We value broad enterprise data security knowledge across data classification, DLP, encryption, data masking, data governance, and data privacy.
  • We want experience building data security strategies that integrate into enterprise architectures.
  • We prefer experience in digital transformation environments supporting data security architecture with Microsoft cloud-native and hybrid solutions.
  • We value understanding of data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, data governance frameworks, and emerging trends in data security.
  • We welcome exposure to DevOps tools and repositories such as Git, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and Ansible.
  • We want experience designing role-based access control and data access governance within Microsoft environments.
  • We value experience with data-centric security, zero trust data access, and cloud-native data protection.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CIPP/E, or Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity certifications are desirable.
Responsibilities:
  • We support the definition of data security use cases, functional and non-functional solution requirements, and technical specifications.
  • We support the design of data security solutions by creating high-level and low-level designs aligned with business objectives and cybersecurity standards.
  • We create high-level and low-level system architecture diagrams with technical descriptions of each component.
  • We define dependencies needed to implement solutions, including network rules, server resources, and storage requirements.
  • We define system specifications to support optimal performance.
  • We integrate workflows with third-party systems and security tools, including SIEM solutions, data discovery and classification tools, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
  • We define RACI matrices to operate and maintain solution infrastructure components.
  • We support the development of technical documentation and process documentation for data security implementations.
  • We support implementing data security solutions by installing components in on-premises and cloud environments.
  • We configure cloud-based elements and develop scripts or code for plug-ins and extensions.
  • We install and configure servers for data discovery and deploy agents for DLP scanning across endpoints and network devices.
  • We integrate data security solutions with enterprise applications, directories, cloud applications, and third-party data repositories.
  • We configure and implement API integrations and reverse proxy architectures with cloud services.
  • We implement, fine-tune, and manage DLP policies to address business requirements and minimise false positives.
  • We collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to address prerequisites and dependencies before deployment.
  • We execute unit, integration, functional, and non-functional testing for data security solutions.
  • We troubleshoot issues such as data access failures, policy conflicts, and data protection errors in coordination with vendors.
  • We provide post-implementation services, including hyper-care support and advanced troubleshooting.
  • We conduct knowledge transfer to client data security teams through technical training sessions.
