Salary: £52,000 - 71,000 per year

• Essential: a background in customising and enhancing third-party systems, such as ERP, Legal or HRIS platforms.

• Essential: a working level of understanding of SQL, including querying, interpreting and working with data.
• Essential: experience learning how a software platform works and using that knowledge to deliver change.
• Essential: experience improving internal processes and driving operational efficiency.
• Essential: an understanding of BPMN or similar process-mapping approaches, with the ability to design and implement workflows that improve business processes.
• Essential: experience working with end users to understand current processes, pain points, requirements and expected outcomes.
• Essential: the ability to break down ambiguous business problems into clear options, actions and delivery requirements.
• Essential: experience using collaboration and delivery tools such as Confluence, Jira or similar.
• Essential: experience working in an Agile or Scrum team.
• Desirable: experience translating user needs into clear tickets, acceptance criteria, process notes or configuration requirements for a wider delivery team.
• Desirable: confidence facilitating conversations with stakeholders to agree scope, priorities and trade-offs.
• Desirable: experience building or configuring low-code solutions using platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio or similar.

Responsibilities:

• We work with end users and stakeholders to understand current processes, pain points, requirements and expected outcomes.
• We map processes and identify opportunities to simplify ways of working, improve data quality or make better use of technology.
• We build practical solutions using low-code platforms, including applications, workflows and automations.
• We customise and improve third-party systems to better support business processes and user needs.
• We use SQL to query, analyse and support changes to data across our business applications.
• We use platforms such as UiPath to automate manual or repetitive processes across the organisation.
• We collaborate with Product Managers, Software Engineers and QA Engineers to agree the best approach to solving business problems.
• We share progress regularly with the product team and end users, using feedback to shape and improve solutions as they develop.
• We support testing activity across the team, including validating changes, helping meet sprint commitments and ensuring solutions are fit for purpose.
• We report to the Senior Application Analyst and work closely with other Application Analysts, Platform Engineers, Product Managers, Architects and Operations team members.
