Cloud Security Engineer

Salary: £70,000 - 110,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong security engineering skills
• Hands-on experience with Azure
• Relevant certifications such as AZ-500 would be beneficial
• Solid scripting skills
• Knowledge of Wiz would be beneficial

Responsibilities:

• Ensure our Azure estate is built securely, remains secure, and generates the right security telemetry so risks and incidents are identified and addressed quickly
• Deliver cloud security integration projects alongside BAU activities
• Provide technical guidance to cloud engineering teams
• Build and enhance Azure security services such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Policy, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Azure Monitor
• Automate security controls and compliance checks
• Develop playbooks, policies, and technical processes
• Improve Azure logging within our SIEM environment (Sentinel)

We are a leading multinational organisation with an established security engineering division. This is a Cloud Security (Azure) Engineer role based in our central London office one day per week. The package includes a salary of 70–80k base plus bonus. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
