Product Owner

Salary: £26,000 - 54,000 per year

Requirements:

• Background in digital product ownership or digital experience design, with a strong focus on mobile apps
• Proven experience shaping, launching, and scaling mobile apps
• Experience in regulated financial services, pensions, or the public sector with governance or other regulated-sector experience
• Experience working with service design
• Hands-on experience with analytics, A/B testing, and content optimisation tools such as Contentsquare, Google Analytics, or Kameleoon
• Deep understanding of web accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1 AA

Responsibilities:

• Own our newly created mobile app and help shape its future direction
• Define and prioritise the product backlog to align with organisational objectives
• Define and manage the mobile product roadmap, working closely with other product owners, service designers, and marketing
• Work with our dedicated third-party development partner
• Prioritise improvements and developments that deliver value and continually evolve the mobile experience
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine product requirements
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions
• Monitor product performance and implement improvements based on feedback
• Facilitate sprint planning sessions and ensure timely delivery of milestones
• Communicate product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and teams
• Ensure compliance with public sector standards and regulations in all product developments
• Maintain a strong focus on user needs to enhance the overall product experience

We are a public sector organisation growing our team with a brand new Product Owner role focused on mobile app development. This is an opportunity to take ownership of our newly created mobile app and influence its future direction. The role is based in London, with onsite attendance once a week and the rest of the time working from home.
