AI Solutions Architect

Salary: £44,000 - 84,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require a relevant academic background or equivalent professional experience.
• We require proven experience delivering AI, data, or software engineering solutions in production environments.
• We require experience working directly with business stakeholders to identify requirements and shape technical solutions.
• We require demonstrated ability to independently drive initiatives from concept through implementation.
• We require experience working with financial data, regulatory datasets, or enterprise information environments.
• We require professional proficiency in English.
• We require willingness to travel occasionally when needed.
• We require strong Python expertise, including APIs, asynchronous architectures, data pipelines, and production-grade applications.
• We require hands-on experience with Generative AI and LLM-based solutions, including prompt engineering, structured output generation, agent orchestration, agentic workflows, and multi-step reasoning.
• We require strong experience designing and implementing RAG architectures, including embeddings, vector databases, retrieval pipelines, chunking, indexing, and evaluation frameworks.
• We require experience with knowledge representation and semantic modelling, including knowledge graphs, semantic search, and metadata-driven architectures.
• We require strong SQL skills, including analytics, joins, and window functions.
• We require experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI and pandas.
• We require experience working with enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake.
• We require strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities.
• We require the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• We require excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities:

• We lead the design and implementation of AI-powered solutions across enterprise data and analytics environments.
• We partner directly with business stakeholders to understand challenges and convert requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions.
• We build and deploy production-grade agentic AI systems leveraging LLMs, retrieval architectures, semantic models, and knowledge representations.
• We develop intelligent document processing solutions focused on financial filings, regulatory content, and structured financial data.
• We design and enhance semantic search, retrieval, and data discovery capabilities that improve access to enterprise knowledge.
• We build natural language interfaces that enable non-technical users to interact effectively with complex datasets.
• We contribute to metadata modelling, governance frameworks, and AI enablement initiatives.
• We own the full solution lifecycle from discovery, design, and development through deployment, optimisation, and continuous improvement.
• We act as a trusted technical partner for both business and technical stakeholders, driving outcomes with a high degree of autonomy.
