SC Cleared DevOps Engineer

Salary: £41,000 - 69,500 per year

Requirements:

• We require valid and transferrable SC Clearance.
• We require previous experience working in an air-gapped environment.
• We require experience with issue resolution and roadmap-driven enhancements.
• We require experience working in a production environment with strong on-premises Kubernetes and OpenShift deployments.
• We require experience using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins.
• We require experience designing and operating observability tooling end to end, including logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and alerting systems using ELK, Splunk, and Grafana.
• We require experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• We require experience supporting critical infrastructure environments or blue light sectors such as defence, military, or nuclear.
• We require an understanding of the importance of P1 service availability.

Responsibilities:

• We work as part of a collaborative engineering team to maintain secure, reliable, and high-performing services that underpin the core system.
• We solve problems and deliver automation in an agile environment using modern tooling.
• We maintain and enhance production services through issue resolution and roadmap-driven improvements.
• We support and operate on-premises Kubernetes and OpenShift deployments.
• We build and maintain Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
• We design and operate observability and alerting capabilities across logging, metrics, tracing, and dashboards.
• We support services in a critical infrastructure environment with a focus on P1 availability.

We are seeking an SC Cleared DevOps Engineer for a hybrid role in London, working inside IR35. You will join a collaborative engineering team focused on secure, reliable, and high-performing services that support a core system.
