Mathematical Software Developer

Salary: £45,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of numerical methods for solving ODEs and PDEs
• A PhD in a STEM subject
• Good numerical programming skills, ideally in C#
• Good technical communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Develop numerical methods for new software products
• Create and modify numerical methods for solving PDEs and ODEs
• Produce robust and efficient algorithms
• Implement methods in code
• Work closely with programmers to convert mathematical insights into finished products

You will join our team of mathematicians and scientists working on the core mathematics while collaborating closely with programmers. Our working style is formal and collaborative, and you should expect to be in the office full-time. The role is based in Cambridge.
