2nd Line Support Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - 40,000 per year

Requirements:

• Exceptional customer-facing service skills
• Calm under pressure and comfortable dealing with high-level, demanding individuals
• Good knowledge of modern Windows and troubleshooting
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office for support and troubleshooting
• Experience with mobile device setups and handset migrations
• Experience administering Active Directory, Entra and Microsoft Exchange
• Experience enrolling devices into Intune and Entra
• Experience with PC migrations and user data transfer to new machines
• Familiarity with and troubleshooting of Apple Macs
• Networking knowledge including DNS, DHCP and IP subnetting
• Good working experience of Microsoft 365, Intune and Conditional Access
• Working knowledge of Mimecast, email filtering and SPF
• Desirable: SonicWall or WatchGuard firewalls
• Desirable: IP telephony knowledge
• Genuine interest in technology
• Ability to multitask and manage sensitive documents
• Minimum of 4 years experience in flexible environments with a wide-ranging skill set

• Provide professional helpdesk support for prestigious legal firms in central London
• Support rollouts, infrastructure upgrades, deployments and server migrations
• Assist users with Microsoft Office issues and troubleshooting
• Set up and migrate mobile devices to new handsets
• Administer Active Directory, Entra and Microsoft Exchange
• Enrol devices into Intune and Entra
• Migrate user data during PC upgrades and replacements
• Troubleshoot Apple Macs
• Support networking and email security-related issues
