Senior iOS Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Around 6+ years of experience building iOS applications, with a clear track record of what you shipped and why it mattered
• Strong architectural judgement and a solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and the trade-offs behind them
• Experience building SDKs that are scalable, performant, and usable by third-party developers
• Ability to build iOS applications that perform well at scale and meet security requirements
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with Product and engineering teams
• A willingness to work AI-first, using AI daily, experimenting quickly, and taking ownership of learning fast

Responsibilities:

• Shape the architecture of our iOS platform so it remains secure, fast, and maintainable as the product grows
• Deliver a consumer app experience that helps customers manage their policies and understand their driving without friction
• Build and evolve our native mobile SDK that collects the data behind every driver score
• Set technical direction and engineering standards that teams beyond our own follow
• Raise the quality bar through code reviews, design docs, and tech talks so knowledge spreads across the team
• Partner with Product Managers to launch features that customers actually use
