Consultant - Manager, AI & Data Engineer
Job Description
Salary: £95,000 - 130,000 per year
Requirements:- Proven experience in AI/ML Engineering in a professional setting.
- Hands-on experience developing and deploying AI solutions.
- Experience building data pipelines and working with structured and unstructured data.
- Experience with MLOps tools and best practices for model deployment, monitoring, and governance.
- Experience working in agile delivery environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and/or similar languages.
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
- Familiarity with Generative AI and/or machine learning frameworks such as Langchain is desirable.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures, and statistical modelling techniques.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and their AI/ML services.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL and big data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop.
- Experience with ETL, data pipelines, and automated workflows for moving and processing data.
- Adherence to data governance, security, and privacy standards, including metadata management, data quality, and lineage tracking.
- Knowledge of distributed computing techniques such as parallel processing, streaming, and batch workflow orchestration.
- Deliver AI/ML engineering on client projects.
- Develop innovative solutions to help clients address complex data challenges, including modern analytics platforms.
- Work with clients to understand business needs and translate them into robust AI solutions.
- Coordinate with distributed delivery teams across our wider network to align delivery plans, technical outputs, and client expectations.
- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end AI pipelines, including data acquisition, pre-processing, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Develop and implement AI and machine learning models for prediction, classification, automation, and insight generation.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, datasets, and data models to support analytics, reporting, and AI use cases.
- Monitor and optimise model performance, data processing, and storage for scalability and efficiency.
- Work in multi-disciplinary teams across a range of industries, subject matters, and locations.
- Manage deliverables and client stakeholder relationships while delivering solutions using agile methodologies.
