Requirements:

• HL7 message mapping and transformation experience
• FHIR resource modelling and implementation experience
• API development and integration experience
• Healthcare interoperability and data exchange experience
• Data mapping, transformation and validation experience
• Troubleshooting complex integration and interface issues experience
• Experience with Mirth Connect, Health Connect, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf or similar integration engines is desirable
• Experience on EPR, PAS or large-scale healthcare transformation programmes is desirable
• Experience with RESTful web services and modern integration architectures is desirable
• Experience with clinical workflows and healthcare data standards is desirable

Responsibilities:

• We design, develop and support healthcare interfaces and integrations
• We analyse, map, transform and validate clinical and operational data flows
• We develop and maintain HL7, FHIR and API-based integrations
• We investigate and resolve interface, messaging and data exchange issues
• We support EPR implementation activities including development, testing and deployment
• We work closely with technical and clinical stakeholders to deliver integration solutions
• We contribute to BAU support, enhancements and issue resolution
• We produce technical documentation, interface specifications and support procedures
• We participate in integration testing, troubleshooting and go-live activities
• We ensure compliance with healthcare interoperability standards and best practice

We are a consultancy supporting an NHS EPR programme and are seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to join a large-scale Electronic Patient Record implementation. This is a 12-month contract role inside IR35, offering up to £500 per day, based in London with a mostly remote working arrangement. You will join the EPR programme team and work alongside application, architecture and supplier teams to deliver robust interoperability solutions while supporting existing BAU integration services.
