Automation Test Lead

Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM).
• Strong experience testing solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Expertise in Python, Pytest, API automation, CI/CD, and cloud-native testing.
• Experience with identity protocols and technologies including SCIM, REST APIs, LDAP and OIDC.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures (Pub/Sub, Kafka, queues) and policy-based access controls (RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC, PBAC).
• Proven ability to lead automation testing initiatives, mentor engineers, and engage with stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile delivery, JIRA and Zephyr.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the automation testing strategy.
• Develop robust test frameworks.
• Drive quality across IAM platforms, APIs, identity orchestration, event-driven architectures, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Work closely with engineering, cloud security, and DevOps teams to ensure secure, resilient, and scalable identity services.
• Play a key role in a large-scale IAM transformation and shape automation testing practices.

The role is remote-based with occasional travel to Sheffield and sits inside IR35.
