Software Developer

Salary: £35,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• British nationality essential to meet site regulations; dual nationalities are supported for British Citizens
• Advanced capability in C#/.NET, Java, Rust, or Python
• Track record of designing and delivering complex software solutions
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical decisions to key stakeholders
• Deep software engineering foundation with a strong academic background in a technical discipline
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code across low-latency or complex enterprise environments
• Strategic problem-solving mindset with a commitment to engineering excellence
• Exposure to high-throughput platforms or financial services technology is advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Take full technical ownership of high-performance, bespoke software systems solving critical defence challenges
• Architect and deliver resilient software solutions for high-stakes technical problems in defence
• Partner directly with domain experts to translate complex challenges into robust code
• Evaluate and integrate emerging tools to maintain high engineering standards
• Drive continuous improvement across the core codebase architecture and delivery pipelines
• Make architectural decisions and build new capabilities with high levels of autonomy
