Requirements:

• 3-5+ years experience delivering Atlassian solutions
• Strong administration experience with Jira and Confluence
• Experience delivering Atlassian upgrades and migrations
• Atlassian certifications or Technical Migration accreditation
• Administration experience with Bitbucket and Bamboo
• Jira Service Management configuration experience
• Knowledge of APIs, scripting and system integrations
• Experience supporting CI/CD tooling and automation
• Strong communication skills and experience working within Agile delivery teams

Responsibilities:

• Administer and support Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Bamboo
• Deliver platform upgrades, migrations and consolidations
• Configure Jira Service Management, including queues, SLAs and automation
• Perform technical health checks and platform optimisation
• Develop integrations using APIs and scripting
• Support CI/CD automation for application deployment and testing
• Configure workflows, dashboards, custom fields and Marketplace add-ons
• Work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable Atlassian solutions

We are supporting a major government technology programme and are looking for an experienced Atlassian Technical Engineer to join our team. This is a 6-month contract role based in Telford with a hybrid working arrangement of 2 days per week onsite. The day rate is £430 per day inside IR35. The role requires BPSS and SC eligibility and UK National status. This opportunity offers the chance to work with modern DevOps tooling and Agile delivery teams while helping us maintain, optimise and evolve critical collaboration platforms used across complex technical programmes.
