Finance Transformation Expert - SAP S/4HANA

Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for an experienced finance professional with a strong understanding of finance operations and a passion for process improvement and transformation.
• We ideally want someone with experience working with SAP, preferably within finance.
• We need strong knowledge of month-end close, management accounting and financial reporting processes.
• We are looking for experience gathering business requirements and improving finance processes.
• We need excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• We want someone who can work collaboratively across finance, IT and project teams.
• We value strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience supporting or delivering finance transformation projects would be advantageous.
• A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA, or equivalent experience, is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities:

• We are seeking a finance subject matter expert for the Accounting & Finance Management workstream.
• We will need you to collaborate with finance, IT and implementation partners to gather and validate business requirements.
• You will support the design and configuration of SAP S/4HANA solutions aligned to finance best practice.
• You will review and improve month-end close, management reporting and financial planning processes.
• You will lead and support testing activities, including System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
• You will assist with data migration, validation and reconciliation activities.
• You will identify project risks, issues and process improvements, ensuring timely resolution.
• You will contribute to change management, user training and adoption activities.
• You will support cutover planning, go-live activities and post-implementation optimisation.
• You will build strong relationships with stakeholders across finance and wider business functions.
