Lead Software Engineer

Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience with one or more of the following: Java, C#, Python, Go, or TypeScript
• Frontend development experience with React, Angular, Vue, or Svelte
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
• Experience building secure, accessible, and high-performing applications
• Previous experience leading software engineering teams and mentoring developers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Eligibility for SC Security Clearance, including 5 years of continuous UK address history

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of cloud-native and serverless applications
• Build secure, scalable, and high-performing software solutions
• Guide engineering teams throughout the full software development lifecycle
• Drive automation, CI/CD, and engineering best practices
• Work closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver innovative software solutions
• Promote high standards across software quality, security, and performance
