1st/2nd Line IT Support Engineer

Salary: £30,000 - 30,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for experience in a 1st Line or 2nd Line IT support role.
• We strongly value MSP experience.
• We need strong customer service and communication skills.
• We are looking for a good troubleshooting mindset.
• We need someone who is organised and comfortable managing tickets.
• We would see a full driving licence as beneficial, but it is not essential at 1st Line level.
• We expect solid fundamentals and the right attitude more than expertise in every technology.
• We would prefer someone who is eager to strengthen their technical skills and progress into 2nd Line and beyond.

Responsibilities:

• We act as a key point of contact for incoming support tickets.
• We provide remote 1st and 2nd line support to our clients.
• We troubleshoot Microsoft 365 and Windows desktop issues.
• We carry out Active Directory tasks, including users, permissions, and group policy.
• We support endpoint and Intune-related queries.
• We investigate basic networking issues such as DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
• We escalate more complex issues to senior engineers.
• We maintain accurate ticket updates and documentation.
• We may occasionally attend client sites at 2nd Line level.
