We are currently looking for a Transport Automation & Analytics Expert who will be integral to driving high-level performance across Lovehoney Group. Partnering directly with the Head of Global Transport, your focus will be on designing and optimising transport planning logic, analytics, reporting, and automation across all modes. In this role, you will combine your appreciation for operational insight with your capacity for strategic decision-making and process design. You will develop skills crucial to advancing a lean, centralised, and data-driven transport operation, all within a company that prizes dedication and results.


What you will do
  • Support the improvement of global transport planning logic across all transport modes, including routing principles, mode selection, service rules, allocation logic, and network assumptions.
  • Build scenario models and analytical tools to support decisions on cost, service, lead times, carrier mix, routing changes, service promises, contingency options, and network design.
  • Contribute to the analytical preparation of transport tenders, including lane strategy, bid packs, pricing comparison models, evaluation logic, award scenarios, and recommendations, working closely with operational leads and mode experts.
  • Develop and enhance transport dashboards, data models, KPI reporting, scalable data structures, and automation workflows using tools such as Power BI, Superset, BigQuery, Supabase, and n8n.
  • Identify and test practical opportunities to apply analytics, automation, and AI-enabled decision support to improve data quality, reduce manual work, strengthen operational decision-making, and deliver cost, service, and risk improvements.

    • What you should bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant thesis is desirable.
  • Experience or demonstrated knowledge in transport, logistics, warehousing, supply chain, data analytics, automation, or related areas, gained through professional, academic, internship, or personal projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex data, identify patterns, and translate operational requirements into practical solutions.
  • Experience with tools such as Power BI, Superset, BigQuery, SQL, or similar analytics and automation technologies, together with an interest in practical AI applications.
  • A proactive, curious, and delivery-focused mindset, with strong communication skills and the ability to influence decisions and work cross-functionally with minimal supervision.
