The Team You'll Join

You'll be part of our Mirakl Connect Engineering team lead by Jean-Yves Cazac, Engineering Director. The team consists of approximately 50 engineers covering the full Mirakl Connect product scope, from seller onboarding and experience to marketplace integrations and channel management. Together, you'll be shaping how sellers and brands connect, operate, and grow across multiple marketplaces worldwide.

In this role, you will directly lead 2 squads — Seller Experience and Channel Integration — representing approximately 12 engineers based between Paris, & Bordeaux, with close collaboration with colleagues based in the US.

Location: Based in Paris or Bordeaux office with one day of remote work per week.

 

Your Impact

• Lead and develop two engineering squads responsible for the seller journey on Mirakl Connect and integrations with external marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, and Zalando, ensuring reliable delivery and a high engineering bar across both teams.
• Partner closely with Product and Design to define priorities, translate business needs into execution plans, and make trade-offs that balance delivery speed, quality, and technical sustainability.
• Drive the technical direction of your scope — challenging architectural choices, ensuring solutions are scalable and maintainable, and raising best practices in testing, observability, and incident management.
• Develop your people: coach engineers and tech leads, identify growth opportunities, run performance and career conversations, and contribute to attracting strong talent into the organization.
• Build a strong operating model for your teams — improving ways of working pragmatically, protecting team focus, fostering ownership, and enabling effective collaboration with distributed and international stakeholders.

 

What You'll Bring to the Role

Experience:

• At least 4 to 5 years of experience managing engineering teams, with a track record of leading teams of 5 to 6 engineers or more, ideally across multiple squads.
• Proven experience in e-commerce, marketplaces, channel management, feed management, catalog or order management — or a closely related domain.
• A solid Java background — you may no longer be hands-on today, but you have the depth to challenge architectural decisions, assess technical trade-offs, and manage a team of Java engineers with credibility.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver in a demanding and fast-moving environment, while protecting team focus and adapting your management approach to the existing context.
• Experience collaborating with international and cross-functional stakeholders across time zones.

Skills:

• Engineering leadership: ability to set direction, delegate effectively, and develop people at all levels.
• Execution in complexity: capable of managing delivery, priorities, and trade-offs across multiple teams simultaneously.
• Technical judgment: able to engage in Java architecture discussions, challenge integration design choices, and guide engineers on complex distributed systems.
• Fluent English: able to lead discussions, challenge decisions, and collaborate autonomously with US-based and international partners.
