Progress Developer ERP Systems

Salary: £30,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven experience of and ability to program using Progress 4GL tools and environment
• Experience and a good understanding of Databases,
• Excellent PC skills, understanding of PC networks and confidence with using Microsoft Windows and other Microsoft family products
• Customer Service Skills
• Permission to work in the UK

Responsibilities:

• Monitor incoming errors and ensure these are investigated and resolved within the agreed SLA
• Design, create and implement new features to be used within the system
• Pro-actively recommend/develop areas that provide improvements
• Carry out thorough testing and desk checking to ensure a Right First Time result is achieved
• Ensuring that service level agreements are not only met but exceeded where possible.
• Work closely with all members of all the team to design test and implement new development and resolve any errors that may be encountered.
• Support other members of the Development & Implementation team sharing knowledge and experience to improve performance.
• Actively participate in open discussions when required
