Head of Technology

Salary: £100,000 - 130,000 per year

Requirements:

• We are looking for a technology leader who has operated in a regulated, data-driven environment such as financial services, fintech, insurance, or B2B information services.
• We need proven third-party and vendor management experience at scale, including managing an outsourced-heavy estate and delivering strong value from it.
• We are seeking someone with experience of platforms such as Salesforce and Azure.
• We need commercial instincts and confidence engaging with a PE board, with a strong understanding of where money is well spent versus wasted.
• We value the pragmatism to keep operations running flawlessly while building for the future.
• It is desirable that you have introduced AI into an established data-led business and worked closely with product leadership.

Responsibilities:

• We will rely on you to own the technology infrastructure roadmap that enables new products, campaigns, and commercial models to launch quickly.
• We need you to bring AI into a genuinely data-rich environment that is ready to adopt it.
• You will own vendor and MSP governance, including SLAs, uptime, licensing, and contract value.
• You will oversee security, compliance, and resilience end to end, including GDPR, SOC2, Cyber Essentials+, and disaster recovery across customer and financial data.
• You will drive cost and TCO optimisation by rationalising the application stack, auditing SaaS licensing, and freeing up budget for growth.
• You will hold external development partners and our premier MSP to account.
