Graduate IT Support Analyst

Salary: £27,000 - 32,000 per year

Requirements:

• A recent degree (BSc or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Networking, or a related technical discipline.
• A fundamental understanding of core IT concepts, such as basic networking, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with the ability to remain calm and helpful under pressure.
• A logical, analytical approach to problem-solving.
• A strong passion for technology and a self-motivated drive to learn new systems and earn professional certifications.
• Previous customer-facing work experience, such as retail or hospitality, is a bonus and demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for IT queries and accurately log tickets via the IT Service Management system.
• Provide initial 1st-line troubleshooting for Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft 365, and bespoke business applications.
• Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of new user hardware, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
• Manage user access, onboarding, and offboarding through Active Directory.
• Help maintain clear and accurate IT documentation and asset registers.
• Shadow 2nd and 3rd-line engineers on complex technical issues and infrastructure upgrades.
