Job Description

Salary: £70,000 - 110,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Mastery of SQL and experience working with complex data ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to translate large datasets into strategic, actionable business recommendations and drive end-to-end processes from data extraction and analysis through implementation and evaluation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Robust experience applying statistical methods and experimentation techniques, such as A/B testing and Pre/Post analyses.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Director+ stakeholders to influence decisions and drive outcomes.
  • Solid business acumen and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong technical foundation in analytics and data storytelling.
  • Ability to visualize quantitative analyses effectively for presentations and reporting, using tools such as PowerPoint and Tableau.
  • A relevant degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Data Science, or Engineering, is preferred.
  • Experience in e-commerce or the travel industry is a bonus.
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze Hotels.com customer and booking data to uncover patterns, diagnose issues, and identify growth and optimization opportunities.
  • Design, conduct, and analyze experiments, including A/B tests and Pre/Post analyses, for product and marketing initiatives using industry best practices and internal experimentation platforms.
  • Use SQL, Python, statistical and causal methods, and experimentation frameworks to generate insights and data-driven recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Hotels.com Product, Loyalty, Marketing, and Supply teams, as well as other Analytics teams, to identify business challenges and inform decisions.
  • Drive improvements to Hotels.com KPIs, including revenue, engagement, retention, and marketplace health, prioritizing high-impact opportunities and overcoming roadblocks.
  • Develop and maintain clear, user-friendly dashboards and reports to track and analyze KPIs, such as customer value, engagement, and campaign outcomes, and train stakeholders to use them.
  • Monitor key metrics and trends, proactively suggest actions, test ideas, and identify business opportunities.
