Crypto Engineer - SSH

Salary: £135,200 - 141,440 per year

Requirements:

• Strong Unix/Linux skills, including bash scripting and service management.
• Deep knowledge of SSH keys, algorithms, and certificates.
• Automation experience with Python, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, and release management.
• Identity and Access Management experience, including RBAC and PAM.
• Experience with ServiceNow, RFC processes, and advanced Excel.
• Desirable: experience in large financial-sector organizations.
• Desirable: Venafi TPP knowledge for SSH key discovery.
• Candidates will be required to go through background checks before commencing the contract.
• Must be eligible to live and work in the specified work location.

Responsibilities:

• Own SSH access, key and certificate handling, and related controls.
• Maintain and upgrade SSH discovery tooling.
• Lead onboarding of PrivX for discovery and just-in-time access.
• Support Linux backend infrastructure, including PostgreSQL.
• Build Python automation for discovery and reporting.
• Troubleshoot SSH issues and support incident management.
